Our Philosophy on Learning
The center supports a philosophy that focuses on all developmental domains of children. As such, we are sensitive and responsive to the different learning styles and pace of learning. Additionally, the practice of individualized attention is central to our early care and education program and to each child’s progress. Thus, we are attentive to the individuality and specific personality of each child throughout all learning and non-academic activities. This approach facilitates addressing each child’s educational, social, physical and cognitive developmental progress.
Based on the theory that children learn through play, classroom routine encourages active involvement in developmentally appropriate activities, meaningful experimentation and reinforcement through repetition.
Schedules are designed to balance structure, free choice as well as active and quiet time.
Our philosophy encompasses the belief that the active involvement of parents adds value to our program. Through involvement parents gain valuable insights and techniques from the expertise of our well-trained staff, and at the same time, share their own talents and interest with the center.
